Would you like to be more in touch with the aliveness of your desires?

Would you like the freedom to be able to communicate them to others?

How can we use our desire to create more authentic and enriching connection with others?

The sudden realisation of a desire can feel like a rush of energy through the body. Noticing what we would like or need is the foundation of our personal agency in the world. It allows us to take action for ourselves or others and to respond to others in a way that sustains and nourishes us. Owning our desires leads to a deeper sense of acceptance and love for ourselves and a richer and more authentic potential to connect to others.

Yet desire is also inherently vulnerable and consistently unmet desires can encourage us to numb out or replace them with potentially unhealthy substitutes.

So how can we cultivate a healthy relationship with our desires and use this as a basis for authentic connection with others?

Topics we will cover

1. Desire Blockers. How we can bring awareness to the pressures that stop us from easily accessing our desires.

2. Aliveness of Desire. How we can use our feelings of desire to create feelings of aliveness and wholeness in the body and experience richer connection with others.

3. Accessing Desire. We will learn simple embodiment techniques to help us create connection and access desire.

Approx 30 min teaching followed by 50-minute practice session.
